On Tuesday September 5th the Coronation Free Church burned down.
Fire Fund Goal
$105,000
Here's how you can help.
Work has begun, but funds are still needed to finish building.
God has been good! The Coronation church has found ways to thrive in the midst of difficulties. They have been meeting in the local school building. The burn sight was found to have hazardous materials the removal of which was not covered by insurance. When the need for funds to clean up the property was made known God's people gave generously and it was quickly paid for. Now a building plan and estimated budget has been developed.
Rebuilding After insurance payouts the Coronation congregation will have an expense of $294,603.88 on the rebuild, and will need to make up a shortfall on the contents. The desired total amount to be raised is $250,000. Due to generous donations of community members, local churches, and businesses, a total of $145,000 has already been raised, leaving the church with a goal of $105,000. Any extra funds raised will go towards the purchase of a piano and additional seating. Funds raised over the extra will be dispersed evenly between Coronation EFC's missionaries, the EFCC, the APD and one local charitable organization of Coronation EFC's choosing.
